What binds us (Paperback)

It's true that when I saw the book cover I immediately wanted to know more. Being a romance (so say I am not very fond), the son around the girl had me intrigued on. When I read the summary, I knew it would be a romance, certainly, but different from what we can cross. Reviews blogosphere differ greatly and there is good as less good. So, naturally curious and wanting to make my own opinion, I still bought this book without expecting much. And this is surely the fact expect nothing that made this so interesting and novel that makes it a little bit of heart.

Alice is a young woman who could have been all that was more commonplace. Except that, obviously, this is not the case. She has a gift: to see links people with bright son. Whether they are relatives, acquaintances or even strangers, these bright son take an important place in his life. Hurt by a break with a man, she decides to use his gift to unmask the unfaithful men by sending emails to the women concerned. However, despite that this gift can bring her, she longs for a normal life. A job interview is going to change his life.

Taken as a recruiting firm, she will meet several people, who at the As, take an important place in his life. But only one of them to be stand out: Raphael. Not as a future partner but rather because it is the only one she can not see the bright son appear. Surprise of this discovery, it still will forge ties with it like "follow me, I am you; am me, I am you. "

First of Raphael from the beginning, we ask many questions. It seems cold, inaccessible, heartbreaker. Engaged to the daughter of CEO, he puts away the barriers about a possible relationship with Alice. I liked his character but not too serious, determined and sure of his choice.
Then comes Shamin: at first she seems cold with no desire to get to know the new arrival. Yet the more we advance in history, more dartichaut his heart is revealed and her character quickly becomes endearing.
Sebastian is an atypical character. He loves women and brags. One night stand, untimely dredge, he saw only that. His favorite phrase: "I'm in love" (which, incidentally, made me laugh every time). I was surprised to see that a beautiful friendship is established between him and Alice. I did not think Alice would create such links with and suddenly, I really enjoyed. He is laughing, takes nothing seriously and is always cheerful.
Finally, Roman. The poor fellow can not do it with the girls, and situations become laughable in force. Jealous of Sébastien bring a different girl almost every night, Romain hide his dismay behind a desk clown mask. I also believe that he is my favorite character. One quickly becomes attached to him and we want to help find the gem.

Another point is that this book is a heart stroke the chapters are divided into two parts. The first happens in the present, the second in the past (the first part) and in the future (for the second). Thus, I found that was not lost. I do not know how to explain it simply, but when we ended a chapter, we had a taste of suspense we wanted to bury wanting to know what the future (or the past) was. So we began the next chapter and that is how it all flowed naturally. Yes, that present / past / future beside me really much, much because we did not feel lost. The author let loose an interesting and crucial info of life Alice that one could find in the following, without being injured.

Let's talk about the pen of the author. If it is true that at first his sentences short and to the present time have a little rout later I found that it brought a real charm to the story. We feel more present in history and the fact that the sentences are short, it brought something extra. Something that pushed us to go further, to want to know more.

In short, a book where I was filled from beginning to end. A romance that makes me want to discover, read others. Characters who all liked me a very interesting story, returns in the past / future / present that still have me onboard. What can I say except that it is a heart stroke and that by writing this column, I realize that the word "small" is too much? In short, a beautiful romance (although the latter is not actually present), a bright son very interesting story to follow, even if the end was a bit frustrated. Marshmallow heart, I wish I had butterflies in my stomach, but the author decided to do the opposite, making it its charm! Anyway, for someone who wants to take a break with a simple and compelling reading both, I can only recommend.

The woman walks away, preoccupied. When my gaze falls on the place, my heart goes crazy. Lights. But not the monuments or buildings. People are evolving amidst glittering tracery. I rub my eyes. The reopens. The son are still there, everywhere. They go in all directions, undulate, born and break.
What is it? "
