The initial situation:
The AEG AG6106 is with 7.2V and given 14 minutes duration of the weakest of the AEG Rapido series. In contrast to the AG6106 WD this is only suitable for dry use.
Use:
At the first operation after first fully charge (approximately four hours) you get used quickly to the loud noise but which but not significantly different from other suckers. The volume can in the suction stage noticeably weaker, but the power still sufficient for sucking up crumbs on smooth surfaces. However, I always use it at the highest suction level for the collection of cat hair or cat litter on carpets. The wheels on the bottom are not necessary in my opinion, because you rather "from above" sucks when you do not want to slide around on their knees. Through the extendable suction attachment to get practical in smaller nooks and crannies, in some situations.
Cleaning:
The emptying of the collecting container works very simple, just push a button and the container can be poured. When cleaning the filter a bit of tact is needed. As always accumulate dust and hair and they get stuck on the filter, it should be ausgebeutelt also well after each draining well. After the device is a pure dry equipment, the dust cloud unfortunately sees the dust of the filter itself.
Battery:
Since I use the hand vacuum cleaner irregular, I never should have paid attention to the exact shelf life of the battery release. For 14 minutes I would not put my hand in the fire, 10 but are realistic. In normal use the battery for a few days is enough for daily use short. The performance degradation can be seen audible, then the use is still possible but the suction power is quickly recognizable until the power goes off. Nevertheless, the memory effect in Li-Ion batteries should be omitted, I have not ever hang the unit on the power, for the simple reason of the reduced charge cycles due. The charging light is a bit irritating. They lit continuously during charging and flashes slowly when the battery is charged.
Conclusion:
After six months in operation, I would recommend the sucker. Problems are not surfaced in my device, the performance is sufficient only the dust of the filter some skill is required to perform the cleaning.
PS: Even so, this is a product review and no value judgment, I forgive 5 stars, the P / L ratio would thus come just at this score.
