Personally, I loved this book. It is true that it is a bit long to implement but it is also necessary to set the scene. From say on page 80, this historical thriller that recounts a series of murders in this closed universe that is the monastery Clairets becomes absolutely thrilling and the young mother abbess, Plaisance Champenois must not only investigate these crimes but also face a mini revolution in the abbey. On intrigues rebound in search of a mysterious bag, this excellent novel by Andrea H. Japp did not leave us a moment's respite. Finally, we must underline the excellent author's research work and its ability to create a great atmosphere. Read for all these reasons.
