I have the receiver now 2 weeks and together with the box set of Nubert (nuBox 511 AW991)
installed. So I can now, after detailed try out, give my statement:
Installation:
All connections are very well marked. Jamming actually impossible.
The HDMI inputs are programmed as the menu for everything imaginable.
I have connected a PS3, Bluray Panasonic, Technisat S1 and the Philips 7403 LCD TV, no problems.
As written above the nuBox 511 set as an acoustic output. This I've installed with the setup microphone.
But also here readjusted somewhat as we read in other reviews already.
Menu:
here the first and only point of criticism: The remote has a delay until the required button also
is actually implemented. which is at the beginning of something nevig. But you get used to it.
The menu is displayed clearly and well on the television and leaves no wish unfulfilled.
Must incorporate a little bit you look into the matter but already. Here are brief explanations of vote
each menu item.
Equipment:
I was intrigued by the network connection. For me it is about cable quickly set up and working well!
I do not want to miss.
On the rest of the facilities, I do not want to go into here because they are well known.
Sound:
Now the most important thing: The sound is fantastic in conjunction with the above boxes.
Both the stereo and home cinema operation. Again, very positive: All set
Sound settings for each HDMI input are available at reboot.
If you switch for example from the Internet radio (I hear in stereo) to on BluRay, so is also the
Sound setting changed (here in Dolby).
For what is it then decides a matter of taste.
Extra:
I have the receiver set, which he extrapolates incoming signals in 1080p.
The very well succeed. I imagine even to have a better picture than before.
Most strikes me that in the case of programs with "Standart Resolutions" (576 lines)
To view images and movies from my PC to the TV I proceeded as follows:
- External 2.5 "hard drive connected to the Fritzbox 7390 and installed files
- PS3 controller with access to media server and view images
Here is the Onkyo upscaled to 1080p and the result is amazing.
I have a digital camera with 640x480 video resolution. These are now
so wiedergegben by extrapolating on the 47 "Philips TV as if it were HD material.
The I-Pod connection I do not use.
The receiver is with me in the operating imperceptible (about 4 meters)
Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend the receiver.
