Well my father the "Endless River" already there lags me borrow Near the times. Since I'm biased when it comes to "rest Ever values Album", the part is actually just like "Fallen" by the Fields. OK really a 100% official release during "Fallen" in Carl McCoy's officials not only emerges from PF's what his reasons has. Both Albem combines it involves a more or less good compilation of rehearsal sessions. Soundwise course the CD by PF Meilenweit front while the "Fallen" by Fields of the Nephilim really sounds as if you secretly penetrated into the studio the Files "as they are" carried along and has not looked after mastering.
Before Fields fans complain, yes I know they played new jawoll new things 2 days ago in London Shepherds Bush 2, an instrumental called "Earthbound" (which are sure to love and PF fans a nice flowing song) and "Prophecy" a the pace her similar number as Chord of Souls.
Well back to eigtl. Topic is already late got me "Endless River" from Dad borrowed because of course the duo Phil Manzanera / Andy Jackson reminds me in the liner notes in whatever indeed instrumental or the mixer for "The Eden House "sat. The Eden House is a tape where certain Tony Pettitt plays along by the Fields - see above - so we come full circle.
Anyone who thinks what's the point here goes to Floyd ne plate - HALT Haaalt'm not fertisssch !!! [/ Mario Barth mode off]
So again: I listen to quite often FOTN Psychonaut, then the combo "Wail of Sumer / And There Will Your Hear Be So" pure mostly followed by Bäääm: "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" purely fits perfectly probierts out !!
Last ran in "arte" Pink Floyd in Pompeii, I thought McCoy plays smooth it out because that will send surely immensely !!!
But in order not to wander forever drum rum now, the endless river are collected together rehearsal recordings that have not come for a good reason to the albums, not less but also not more. But after all, the sound is good! For the absolute "Die Hard" Collector of even such, B the obscure promo pressings of Record Labels from Timbuktu must have the will this disc buy certainly, me so went in Fields of the Nephilim * s "Fallen" completely so just only to the collection to have.
Stuck is "Endless River" with me not, Rezi from my father PF supporter first hour a la Reich Ranicki: "gräääääääßsssslisccch" :) I'd rather stay at the Old PF discs from the 70s because I have any more of
Otherwise, all PF fans who want to hear more from the duo Andy Jackson / Manzanera here because it except the pure mix - had given the had to assimilate all Studioschnippsel sound, tonal and volume technically not really much creative input. Look over the (record player) adjusting rand than always hacking away only on the old times, I know myself how hard it is to the dream combo McCoy / Yates / Wright / Pettitt / Wright when I the current FOTN band (to whose suffering ^^ ) still fair wirds no longer exist.
The Eden House, Time Flows EP and Half Life. Because even there singing - I won !! and also structural similarities as PF songs to a "Side" sum (Butterflies, The Tempest - City of Goodbyes) + Tony Pettitt of Fields of the Nephilim as one of the bass players ever!
