Bloodlands: Europe entre Hitler and Stalin (Paperback)

Customer Review

This book brings to life, so to speak, the tragic fate of these lands to the east.
We start with a detailed description of the genocide of the Ukrainian kulaks by the little father of the peoples, the so-called Stalin.
It continues with extermination by the Nazis, the Jews of Europe to the east, with the complicity and native and Stalin, especially gold of the invasion of Poland.
A point, fairly new to me, is the Nazi plan for obtaining a living space. This plan was also based on the extermination of Ukrainian peasants (in addition to Jews); it was deprived mouths that food resources of German. It scans the argument so often heard Hitler, had he been wiser, would have made Ukrainian allies against the Soviet Union and could therefore have gagnr war; nonsense.
This book is truly remarkable but powerfully disturbing.
