Captain Toad makes a lot of fun, no question. The level have varied topics (which you sometimes but from Mario 3D World knows), are here and there really nice dodgy and the graphics are absolutely round; liquid, lovingly designed and extremely cuddly - even a technical leap from 3D World can be seen.
The controls are very fluid and goes into any situation well by hand. In addition, the mix of puzzling and platforming (without jump) is surprisingly fresh. Small special level as Münzjagd or Loren trips loosen the whole thing on addition.
The difficulty is fine with me, I like the simple puzzles in between here and there, it is already tricky, especially with the bonus challenges. It could certainly be a little longer and a level editor would obviously be a dream. :)
However, what costs the 5th star, is the recycling of the bosses and the cutscenes. Since Nintendo schludert lately rather ... if I then on times of "Yoshi's Iceland" think that's pretty poor ....
In addition, the camera can annoy some, especially in the Boss battles. In addition, I would have liked a list view of the level in the menu. The books are quite nice, but too cumbersome to jump fast times in unfinished Level.
Overall, a buy recommendation, in the case actually time for young and old.
