have the adapter for a couple of weeks and thought that it is up to me that I get no sound from my new MacBook Pro. now I know that there is the adapter in 2 versions at logilink. there is the version with the item number and the CV0036 version CV0036a. the small A makes the difference. it stands for audio out support. It says so on the website at logilink. Amazon in the description is, however, written that it supports audio. this is a completely wrong information !! I got the version delivered CV0036. unfortunately I can after 8 weeks no longer send back the adapter. Bad luck. so watch out and logilink version CV0036a buy. is not so easy to get. or it will never described exactly which version is it really.
