I have replaced the extent any old bulbs in the house by LED lamps. So even with my "Artemide Tolomeo" lamp. Unfortunately, Osram bulb is unusually difficult in comparison to other LED bulbs, so that the head of my desk lamp hangs down a bit. In addition, the LED bulb will be quite hot (have more than 80 degrees Celsius) measured at normal operating time (about 2 hours).

- Is very hot (+80 degrees Celsius in a few hours in use) - Is heavier than normal bulbs
Conclusion: Suitable for ceiling lamps, wall lamps and desk lamps immobile, but not suitable for lamps that can possibly touched by hand.
