Philips HF3430 / 01 EnergyUp Blue (intense blue light, UV-free, Dimmer), white (household goods)

Customer Review

As part of product testing I was able to test the EnergyUp BLue Light from Philips.
Though I knows about the influence of light in the regulation of serotonin levels and the inhibition of melatonin, I was very skeptical that this lamp would make a real difference and for that reason also as curious.

Now the product:
First, the product arrived in a neat package and has a simple, modern design with no unnecessary frills. The device is small and compact so that it can be put down anywhere and taken using the matching bag everywhere. In addition, the unit is also very easy and intuitive to use. Use the manual refers to it in any case and soon finds out when to use the device best.

I've used the lamp always in the afternoon at about 15 clock to escape my afternoon slump. In particular, as it is quite dark in my apartment by the dreary autumn weather and construction. In the first application I used the light at full intensity, but what I felt in the long term as to be loud and annoying. Nevertheless, I had the feeling that my fatigue was gone noticeably after the 30 minutes of light therapy and I felt awake.
In the two weeks after that, I've used it at moderate intensity, which made it much more pleasant. In the two weeks after that, I had more and more the impression that I really always was awake in the afternoon, which is why I am very glad to have the EnergyUp light and it always applying.
On long days I take it sometimes with at work. The battery lasts after three hours of charging at me about one and a half hours, which is very good for an intense blue light, which consumes a lot of energy.

It should be mentioned also that the blue light emits no UV light and therefore can not develop ocular lesions arise.

In summary, I can say that the EnergyUp light has convinced me and I am completely satisfied with the product.
