It is a text of astonishing intelligence: the game on the views, time never seems artificial. Objectivity claimed that the author is obviously a total illusion and arrangement of facts, dialogues, confrontations, sources of the same words shows the tip of his nose all the time. From this point of view, the image he gives of uncompromising deep America of the time alone is worth a visit. (?) This detective story which we know the bloody epilogue from the first pages is unique in that it holds us spellbound with nothing: it describes the gradual establishment of a free execution and excruciatingly banal. As such, the novel itself seems to revel in free and it is this voluntary empty, this survey on nothing (without metaphysics, in my opinion) was born the fascination of the reader, real magic of writing that should not be missed for any reason.
