General: Certainly a good alternative to real candles, no soot formation and looks good and deceptively
Flicker: For outdoor use quite appropriately, indoors it would be my opinion, but too strong
Breath function: For indoor use, a nice gimmick, however, for not usable outside area, because it then in stronger winds (even when used in the lantern) the candle off every now and then.
Gentle "Disable" of the sensor (on a product image is the black circle next to the see "Flame" - is probably a microphone) by pasting over with tape, foam or pour hot wax was not successful - the thing still responded. So there was only the hard version - purely press firmly with a sharp nail or screwdriver until the sensor no longer responds .... now works perfectly (no longer) ;-)
As the last downer yet the battery life should be mentioned - a set of batteries (3 x AAA) keeps for us for a week, or about 100 hours ..... that's for this light-power but not very long. It would be better here, the use of large AA batteries have been, especially since sufficient space would be available in this large candle.
