Customer Review

After "Dino" biography of Dean Martin, Nick Tosches gives us that of "Sonny" Liston.
Talented and monstrous heavyweight boxer of his time but also alcoholic and drug addict caché.Sa defeat without a fight against Muhammad Ali his mysterious sign shelved.
Henchman of the underworld, rejected by America, the Mafia is everywhere in the organization of fights, fake paris, racism and undermined the American dream.
Son of slaves, slave remain of the Mafia!
His death in his luxurious villa Las Vegas remains a puzzle, overdose or murder?
The title "Night Train" is the blues tune that was happening continuously Liston in his workouts.
Few question of boxing in this book but a thorough documentation of evidence which alternates with imagination and strong personal style ,, lyrical Tosches often difficult to read.
TOSCHES Nick is one of the great American writers, a poet but we must move forward in his books because his difficult style of writing will confuse many.
