In this case, as has been said again a real talent discovered by a hammer-voice. In addition, it has paid off, that she was given for her debut one year time (something that will probably never be the case at American Idol). This debut is now with "Spirit" finally with us before and presents pop gems churning. The extraordinary number "Bleeding Love" needs no more description as many times as it is now on the radio and on television and see. The rest of album is dominated by ballads that fit perfectly to Leonas voice. However, it goes on quite varied and the dominated the rare species of the mid-tempo ballads that were painted often as it did with "Bleeding Love" with a brisk beat. Highlights are next "Better In Time" and probably the next single "Angel" and "Take A Bow" where she sings about the failure of a relationship with ardor. However, one can hardly speak of highlights because you each song his very good production notes and the very good voice and soulful presentation is given anyway. One highlight (I have the concept but then again use) finally comes even at the very end with "Footprints In The Sand". In the poem based here you get offered an incredibly beautiful song, in which sets directly goosebumps. So overall a very nice and quality album. Only the song "I Am You" falls on negative and is too ordinary R & B.
Playing tips:
- Better In Time
- Yesterday
- Take A Bow
- Angel
- Footprints In The Sand
The only drawback in addition to "I Am You": The beautiful song "A Moment Like This" is, unfortunately, can only be found on the UK version of the album (or as a B-side of the single Bleeding Love)
At a 5-star rating which can however change anything.
