It may be that the holder fits in some vehicles. I had tried it at our Fiat Bravo (198) and our Ford Mondeo (MK3). When Bravo the holder first made a satisfactory impression. But as soon as the Navi took out of the holder and thus inevitably some "pressure and movement" had on the Richter Holder, this was always shaky, until he no longer held and constantly had to be re-arrested. Another design-related disadvantage: the ventilation can no longer be adjusted.
When Mondeo assembly was not even possible. The biggest dilemma was that I had pushed out of their clamping on the first installation attempt and push in the holder in the vent of a rear vertical Lüftungslammelen accidentally. Thus, the complete adjustment mechanism is jammed. That was really expensive for us, because the half dashboard (complete. Center console incl. Radio, the regulator climate control, etc.) had to be dismantled to remove the ventilation Saust Romans könnnen and make accessible again.
Have I then bought for the Mondeo a vehicle-specific holder from Brodit which was assembled within 3 minutes and holds bombproof. In addition, the ventilation in all directions can be adjusted because of this holder is not pinched as judges within the ventilation, but above and below these. The Brodit holder (ProClip) costs 20, - Euro + ca. 12, - Euro for the necessary component adapter. Judging by the comfort, the secure closure and an expensive repair in my case a fair price and no comparison to the DIY solution of judge!
The Fa. Judges should at least list using a car type list, in which vehicles the holder fits and what does not. That would have saved us a lot of trouble and money !!!!
Therefore I can not recommend anyone to spend a little more money and a vehicle-specific bracket (can be mounted by any layman) to buy.
