Large grinding discs:
The large grinding wheels of this mill help that the ground material is only slightly heated and thus the valuable ingredients remain largely erhälten. For me personally, this was the most important point. Almost all other domestic mills have smaller, rapidly rotating grinding discs and heat the material to be ground more.
Low volume:
In addition, the mill is also pretty quiet - compared to other mills - and quieter than eg a vacuum cleaner or blender.
However, the lid should be placed in the milling, otherwise it is naturally louder.
And hard ground material (eg kamut) grinds considerably louder than soft ground material (eg rye).
Grinding fineness:
The adjustment can be easily adjusted the grind with one hand - even while the mill.
However, you get the flour with a domestic mill not as fine as the purchased superfine flour. Who needs such a thing, has probably more of a buy (much more expensive) professional model.
Durability / Warranty:
I use the mill almost every day for about six months, and notice so far no weaknesses.
One reviewer claimed to have had problems with the power supply. This has initially unsettled me a bit. So far, however, this was the only negative review about this product, I have Geshen. In the comments to that review, the manufacturer explains this issue in my view in a soothing manner.
Anyway, there is this product a calming 10 years-long warranty and as I did not use my electric products in a wet environment and in this mill after use and the plug may depart (have otherwise too few outlets), I use the mill to continue just as carefree as other electric products.
Conclusion:
There are cheaper mills for domestic use, for my needs was (and is) this still the best choice, because it little warmed the ground material, softly while still being powerful.
