I am on the side of those who loved it. It's an incredible incredible reading experience, trying, hard to learn, but once you find yourself safely secured embarked on a whirlwind sentences, thoughts and so pleasurable characters we deeply regret to arrive at the end 800 pages. Ok it's a bit hard to follow at times, because of the style and completely disjointed construction, but once back in the universe Kesey the puzzle bricks assemble increasingly intensifying almost to the breaking the drama of the novel. Given the French used, the translation has certainly been an ordeal, but in my opinion is to highlight for its quality. It largely part of the pleasure I felt in reading. It is exotic, original, touching and even funny at times. All this in a novel that is really worth to hang on. A sense of gratification and satisfaction is guaranteed at the end as a reward and even a little sad to have to leave.
