I came to this CD by a recommendation in a local weekly newspaper. Actually, Annie Lennox has not my music. But the title sounded good and so I once reingehört and then bought immediately. "Memphis in June" - an absolute dream! This interpretation! That voice! Close your eyes and to delve into this beautiful June day in Memphis ... That's true skill! Hats off to this artist. One notices immediately that Annie Lenox has made this CD for the love of music and not because of commercialism. This CD has touched my heart. Who is prone to sentimentality, to be careful: tears and goosebumps are guaranteed!
