I have lost myself in the books. I could drop me completely in the story and everything else to hide.
An effect which is unfortunately no longer occurred during the second passage.
When I read "New Moon" for the first time, I was still so under the spell of this fantasy world that I was just as excited as the first volume. But now, I see it a little differently.
"New" Moon lacks what "Twilight" clearly identified - much Edward and Bella.
Early on in the band are Bella's feelings no longer heartbreaking, but simply just annoying. About halfway through the book one would you most like to slap, in order to persuade them to awaken from their stupor.
Only in the last pages did "New Moon" meets the expectations I had when I bought the book.
Just like "Twilight" the story is again relatively simple one and (if you consider that there are two more volumes) predictable.
The characters who have inspired me in "Twilight" fill to the in "New Moon" only about a third, rather less, the book.
Conclusion - This book is worth reading, is / but is uninteresting when the "magic" of the Twilight saga has evaporated or, if you have the "magic" never experienced.
Three stars there are, as I New Moon not so bad was how "Breaking Dawn", but not as good as "Eclipse".
