As old and new prog fan (new is just Progmetall that it definitely was not in the 70's) I'm after (me incomprehensible) negative reviews of the new DT album (hooks are the new DT) became aware of this very band. And what is one to say: There is hardly anything better than this album here in the House. Perfect songwriting, perfect musical realization. Certainly much of DT (the chord resolutions are oblique and very reminiscent of DT, offer something extra), and yet they bring their pieces much Standalone, that goes far beyond DT addition. The nests are partly more complex and there is rarely pure metal (the rare "growls" time deducted). The singer has not the expression of a LaBrie (except in the ballad-melodic parts). But otherwise an incredibly strong album, where I can not get enough of me! All instruments come into play, which one can not always say in DT. It houses an immense talent and melodiousness. On the page "metal.de" someone has written a critique that does not fit: allusions to Queen (where please are they?) And nested without Standalone. No, I do not like that. And thus I am the Sixteenth of sixteen who forgives 5 star - and that's a good thing because absolutely and at all deserve it!
