First of all: I always wonder if I can not see the espresso machine in the restaurant or cafe, if the espresso with a WMF-conditioning, Viva or a similar machine is produced. If so, I order a cup of tea. I prefer to drink my coffee at the Italian restaurant around the corner: black, strong, little water and thick with lots of sugar.

I was the owner of a Jura Impressa, by grace of Melitta owner of 4 Caffeo machines (replacement of faulty equipment) and Erdulderin of yard long repair times (in the sum in Jura 9 months), kitchen floods, major repair costs, gigantic non-removable mold cultures in the Jura and defective pump. - The DeLonghi EC 860 M is a solid-looking machine in which it, however, as with many devices, problems are larger vessels underneath observed. The distance between the outlet and floor plate beträg slightly more than 9 cm. Decreasing a small insertion plate from, then just adds 1 cm. Why one reviewer, the machine will move when attaching the filter holder and criticized the lightweight of the machine, is incomprehensible for me.

- I have now, after some tinkering found for me the opportunity to do with Lavazza Espresso Perfetto an espresso, which is better than the fully automatic vending machines and Nespresso machines. Yes, it already requires some tests. On the first night I was completely frustrated by the result and only the next day then brought espresso that slowly rankam to what I was expecting. Espresso powder too fine print too large and already was no more coffee from the machine. Too little pressure and milled coarse resulted then in seconds strong bitter coffee. Reduced water temperature and then it was sour dishwater. However, anyone who believes that 15 kg Tamperdruck and very finely ground espresso powder can be processed by the machine, is clearly wrong. My Italians pressed times easily the filter holder and that's it, yet there is a great espresso (and with Lavazza Rosso). The ordered directly at a small coffee roaster fresh roasted beans not tasted me as an espresso. There were 100% Arabica beans and I do not like the Tart of these beans. I'm going to buy a good mix with a high proportion of guiten Robusta beans.

- The milk foam production is functioning properly and is absolutely easy to handle.

- The crema is not very extensive, but also due to the espresso beans used.

- The chrome shelves under the spout look cheap and will soon be scratched.

- There are 4 programmable keys: 1 espresso, 2 espressos (I use it for my coffee), small cup with milk foam and big cup with milk foam. There are also 1 sieve for 1 espresso or 1 small drink milk froth and a screen for twice as much espresso grounds. How to what combined and how much water is allowed to pass through, is a left by the key programming options themselves.

- You can run the amounts individiuell define for each key (both for espresso and milk foam).

- One can of 3 temperature settings for the water, with which the ground coffee is rinsed, set a.

- The manual is no better or worse than in many other devices. Who can use a smartphone, expected to actually using the machine have any problems. If someone criticizes a missing display in the review, then think I that the person massive problems with other devices must have and does not have any ideas of a price / performance ratio.

- The separately switchable !!! Hotplate for cups is very quick and very warm served its purpose. However, the Espresso (at least of each 1) is pretty cool from the machine, although I have also set the highest water temperature because of the taste. I heat my 1st cup often in the microwave before or evening use when cooking then the residual heat of the oven. EVT. but one (ie espresso reference) may also precede the first reference to the machine an empty rinsing making any espresso grounds.

- Pads with decaffeinated espresso for guests give a reasonably drinkable espresso and handling of the pads or the creation of espresso from Pads is childishly simple.

- If I (my personal estimate) would have the next best espresso, the default setting of the machine and pre-ground coffee used simple, the machine would have fallen well within 2 days to Amazon. My impression of the machine coincides with the one I had for years from the Nespresso machine from DeLonghi: it is solid and does what it should.

(Somehow, although I had all the time the feeling to drink reasonably good espresso, although better than the one you get in most restuarants but ....... When visiting an Italian restaurant I got an espresso (Ristretto) served, the extremely strong as hot strong dark chocolate tasted with ner good quantity of sugar with cocoa powder and dessert replaced.
