It would be quite interesting to learn how the Swedish singer / songwriter Lykke Li is actually the sudden success of their single "I Follow Rivers". After the accompanying album "Wounded Rhymes" in 2011 appears, it is the remix of a producer called "The Magician" (from the Paris "Kitsuné" orbit), making the former, deliberately acting Indie Pop tip top priority. No musician resists to be heard, but diluted undeniable talent like the mainstream. Already with their debut "Youth Novels" it is to critically acclaimed and goes with her girlish voice and a refreshing Synth / dream pop sound on trailer catch. Lykke Li is heard "cool", even though their artistic existence defies superficial listeners largely. Yet she takes the time to process what has happened and regain your inner self.

Much can be derived from the folk / soul sound of the 60s. A song like "Get some" is proceeding somewhat more aggressive and can at all melancholy sometimes a few "shaking" dance steps. The ease of their debut has given way to a lurking self-determination, which nevertheless convinced comprehensively. Magical as Tim Burton's version of Alice In Wonderland. Speckled with shadows and darkness. On top, the special edition has the aforementioned "I Follow Rivers" (The Magician Remix), and 3 more, successful remixes in conjunction with US rapper Tyler The Creator, Beck and Mike D (Beastie Boys), which the originals new, (Electronic) confer facets. Heartbreak and youthful frustration were long no longer presented with so much pride and grace.
