Compared with several previous stereo and DVD systems, the Fidelio has the best sound I ever had. The speaker design is fine, the basic unit: Well ... The overhead line display could sit further forward, are steeper and be sharper. The information displayed information is so poor that you almost always have to turn on the TV for orientation. The main problem is the slow and incomplete software. Communication with my LG TV is thus hakelig, one often pushes 2 until something happens once, and then it may be too much. Among the apps I miss such as the Digital Concert Hall, which is installed by default in most companies or at least can be recharged. Here goes nothing, the range of apps is generally poor, and apparently can not be expanded. The Smart TV function worthy of the name is actually not at all, with each tablet computer you are more flexible and faster. I like to listen to Internet radio on the system, but miss this painfully displaying the current track. Only the sender is displayed with logo. The network player Philips NP 2500, hanging on the same router, everything is displayed. Overall, I would have from a device in this price range expected more. Addendum: Half a year after purchase, I tried to buy as update the firmware via the network. The update was a rather inconspicuous error message through, but after that the unit could not start and had to be sent in for service. After about 2 weeks I got the message that there are no spare parts and no replacement unit were available, and that I get refunded the purchase price (which is now also happening). Strangely, however, that the unit is still available commercially.
