A really good 'standard lens' for Micro Four Thirds

Since the lens is currently not available through Amazon, I had to order it otherwise. I use it on my Olympus PEN E-PL5, to which it fits very well. Thanks to metal bayonet it can be easily and without much force attaches to the camera and remove again. The build quality is generally very high with only the smooth distance setting is not very practical kind. But that was known in advance and has therefore not affect my review.

The lens is well centered; there is no sharpness differences between the corners. The picture quality is good but at the edges only satisfactory at maximum aperture (f = 2.8) in the center. That changes when you stop down by 1 stop (at f = 4.0). Then the center is good to very good and sharp corners are well reproduced. Really good is the lens when it is stopped down to f f = 5.6; this will probably be my working aperture.

Because of the described open-aperture of the objective weakness I forgive 4 stars.
