Complete crash

Let's start with the positive things:
The camera is easy to use, I have tested a little while driving, and the images can be quite impressive. Operation via iPhone struck me much easier than using the camera's own menu or the supplied remote control. Total suitable for use as a small Actioncam well. The color reproduction, resolution, sharpness, contrast, low light characteristics etc. were satisfactory, the sound was not to be seen in the above usage.

Now for the BUT, for the worse:
First I had the awkward camera software update, for a seasoned Mac users is an anachronism just annoying. The preview on iPhone was delayed about 10 seconds, but for adjustments and framing of the app is ok. The real problems started then in the transfer of data to: sometimes the photos and movies were not recognized, then the camera, then the camera fell off completely and had to awaken only by removing the battery back to life, then they went even no longer, because she was no longer recognized by the computer, etc.
After about 20 tries, I was angry, and simply put the memory chip directly to the computer - lo and behold, no problems with the data.

Conclusion:
I do not know if I just caught a Monday only product, I was certainly very happy that I could give back the camera from the merchants. But the problems do not appear to be unusual, see other 1 * reviews. The GoPro Hero 3 BE is unreliable and probably not really ready to go, because such a large spread does not speak just for process safety. The pictures are ok, but the uncertainty as to whether one has for his valuable experiences actually captured on video and can save the data for me are a clear no-go.

I therefore strongly advise against purchasing!
