The Sony also had my preference with a very high price hit with rate reductions jai tested this good "old" smartphone released in late 2013: the LG G2 16GB, and where happiness All in all.
Minor drawbacks to know: non-removable battery and no micro sd.
For the battery can be changed by following the easy tutorials (remain calm and especially no flickering!); Expansion Memory on absence i opted for the LG US 32GB version with the barrel price promo on Amazon :) and here.
Jai added still a mini hub OTG (tested with 32 and 64 GB microSD without problems).
At the end of a week of use intensive enough for now here is my conclusion:
The pros:
I find myself in the end with a powerful smartphone that for the price of a 16GB in the competition is:
- Very fluid without lags (no need to change the launcher once, or optimize cpu / voltage etc., just disable unnecessary applications)
- Features a screen hd a nice, clear reading, very accurate colors
- Has a good grip,
- Excellent performance (surfing, big 3D games, HD videos, gps)
- A comfortable autonomy,
- Correct reception,
- A very fast GPS fix (no signal loss for now as advertised on some forums)
- A low SAR,
- And a fairly light weight.
The -:
If I have to find fault it is:
- The buttons placed at the back (question usual)
- Sound loudspeakers fairly average,
- Non matte screen (although clearly visible in daylight)
- Automatic brightness that is poorly managed and unusable for me (same with many competitors)
- Soft keys that take part of the screen, damage (but avoid the failures of physical buttons), it tells you
can remove (caution must be root, so loss of warranty).
- The average picture quality (as unfortunately all the other smartphones that i tested to troubleshoot ok, not for pictures
noisy is probably still not wait in low light years worth, pathetic results, it said the LG2,
as LG3 are above the lot)
- Lheure / day inaccurate if we start off the LG2 for more than 2 H! (Eg at night, so I cut all my
critters that emit waves / consume at night), we must start by systematically resynchronize lheure
Tedious manual action but not LG side solutions found to date (look on the net: lg g2 date time).
In short, quite satisfied with this acquisition for now; to see if the reliability persists over time.
