I come from the Xperia Z, ie before the Z1 and am totally surprised by Z2. Even to Z, which is as each LG G 3s and Samsung 4S even better today, huge strides have been made.
- The display is felt much lighter and more sensitive (!). This is very pleasant, because the response time is at 0.
- The battery life is better. With a bit of surfing, SMS, take pictures, etc. enough for me the battery loose three days, at medium brightness (completely enough) and activate Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC.
- Do not care about just how many apps open ... with the 3GB of RAM one is prepared for the next 10 years.
- The phone is extremely rigid, ie torsion, through the metal frame.
- The Z is only splashproof. The Z2 can also submerge :-)
- THE CAMERA !!!! The is the hammer !! I have a Canon Ixus 220 HS, which in low light conditions not so good results achieved as the camera of Z2. By default, the camera will not record with 20MP. The one does not need also because the 15MP WideScreen quasi exactly match the 20MP, only that supplemented "down" a few more pixels. This leads then to the fact that the 20MP only in 4: 3 function. Actions at the highest level! I will now actually take only the Z2 and take pictures with it.
About the additional dock I invite the monitor on comfortably, without having to open the door.
With all this luxury, manufacturers like Sony must soon deal with the question be whether you really need so much power in a mobile phone. The Z2 has many reserves that hereby most likely a laptop could be operated with.
