I bought the LG 47LA6918 in March 2014 on Amazon. The product is a great tv and all features (video, audio, 3D, Smart, etc ..) can totally convincing. The technical details and assessments was sufficient written in the other reviews.
Now a software update was released by LG for this television, which was recorded by auto installation in the last week. Since this update of the TV is virtually no longer to use !!!
It come permanently error messages to USB Devices. Unfortunately absolutely no USB device is connected.
After turning on the TV, the Wi-Fi network is available for about 3 minutes and then stops and can no longer be activated (according to LG Support a result of error USB error).
Sporadically, the device reboots again and restarts. That's just for the World Cup is a great thing when the crucial penalty pending and restarts the TV !!!!! Is really fun; o (
When a call at LG was told that the problem is known and one off work. How long could it take more, but you can not say.
For me, it's amazing how such a SW update may have existed a possible quality control and is then rolled out ??? Furthermore, I find it very surprising that such an update airs to an event like the World Cup (in other IT companies there are to such events a so-called "frozen zone", in which no changes can be carried out).
A recording of the old software will not be possible. The device is mE by then with the current SW version not working. Can I exchange this then? How rapid either repairing ???
The above problem arouses in me not necessarily trust LG and does not increase with me and customer satisfaction.
