Had until now an Medion device 5 inches and quite satisfied, but only TMC traffic information (is total nonsense, nonexistent traffic jams are displayed, not existing, na Prima) and the obsolete card ..... Now I needed a new device.
Since I took the free storage Navigon app on my phone and each time was amazed and pleased with the accuracy I needed now a Navi, where this function was integrated.
The decision for this machine was the right one.
Positives:
Automatic activation after starting the car engine, very quickly find the satellites, good tunnel function (Navi continues and darkens from) great glass touch screen 6 inches (I think 7 inches for a car would have been just too big)
good route guidance.
What most impressed me the great possibility of voice control. Works flawlessly even with background noise (160 km / h), which can neither Siri nor my premium VW phone. One can quickly recite new address and the device almost always understood correctly, really great. I have to tap any more addresses, which has previously really annoyed.
The traffic and the integration into the navigation is great, so exactly why we have the only in 2014, we're already 61 flew to the moon, upper right .. not at the
Now accurate readings, almost to the meter, now we know already ahead of the curve if there is a traffic jam or not, great. The diversions work quite well.
Not quite as positive:
There are a few weaknesses, why you can take the Geschwindigskeitsanzeige no residual kilometers there may indicate I know goes on dates, but which are so often obscured by the traffic message.
Why are no desired POI shown on the map (gas stations, etc.) I know the card would be overloaded, but because you should stop can select)
Why is not displayed when navigating, which traffic is being received (Nokia Here or Smartphone Link)

Best buy recommendation, for this price, there is probably no better time for unit on the market
Some reviews on this unit and the negative points, many are wrong or simply application error.
Due to the many possibilities of the instrument you have to deal with it a little to halt.

You can for example set the tone of the navigation announcements independently of the main volume of the device (important for voice commands)
Radar detector warns wrong:
the included radar detector is permanently stored and will not be updated in the device, so the device displays all fixed and all mobile known radar sites, even if there currently is no speed camera stands (is logical, right) but there are better options for the mobile phone
no sensor for day night service, right
but the unit decides the switching due time and season itself, works fine, better than on my old navigation system with sensor
