I guess given the right price balance, these measures are not super accurate. The manual is not very specific about which corresponds to the "normal" figures, but it is easy to find information on the other.
The only problem I could see is that the measures are different depending on if you say you are "athletic" or not (initially, the balance asks if you are H, F, H athletic, athletic F). The only definition is athletic (1) a pulse 60bps and (2) more than fourteen hours per week. Besides the fact that it is not clear whether the two conditions must be met or if one is enough, the fact that the measures differ greatly depending on what you choose is problematic. By changing the "athletic" to "non-athletic", my body fat percentage has doubled.
