With this album Rod Stewart managed then the breakthrough as a solo artist - and it is still one of his best albums. Great ballads, great rock songs and especially his interpretations of Dylan's "Tomorrow is a Long Time" and Tim Hardin's "Reason to Believe" are unbeatable today. So the music you need not much to say. The question is, do we need this new remastered edition of the album? If one has a good system: yes. Compared to the last remastered edition of Stewart-albums, this one is more detailed, finer points of acoustic instruments come out better, the bass is precise, not washed out so - although the recordings of course, despite all the post will never truly hi-Fidel - this is the original recording just too trashy. But even compared to the most preferred by me Vinyl editions (a few years ago there was an outstanding of Vinyl Lovers) - This CD edition is better!
