Image is over the 2011_Version (BST-700) worse (subjectively)

Unfortunately, I have to disagree on some points the previous speaker. I switched from the DMR-BST-700 to this recorder, is a lot better a lot become worse. In particular, the image quality has greatly diminished. Although you can now adjust much but somehow the image has no more brilliance, it always seems like a bit gray. I do not succeed despite many attempts to set the same image quality as with the BST-700. Also in some cases the picture quality through various settings, especially if you changed the focus adjustment toward sharper. I admit that you can see the differences in part only in a direct comparison, but they exist.
In summary, only the most important things for me
BesserD
- Switching speed of the channels much faster, especially when switching from HD to SD channels or vice versa
- EPG better because TV picture remains in the EPG as a mini window, unfortunately the column view is omitted
- Teletext much faster
- Faster response in the various menus

Worse
- Image Quality !!
- Many picture settings, but does not necessarily bring an improvement, on the contrary

Basically, it's still a good device, but unfortunately everything has not improved. Here one can only hope for improvement through future updates.

Addendum:
It bothered me, why the image quality is worse (subjectively) has become. So I took a couple of hours and made some tests. However, many on me that the picture of the BST-700 slightly bluish and the image from the BST-730 was slightly yellowish. Through this shift, the bluish the image appears more brilliant and more luminous. By shifting to yellowish but warmer, but it is subjective and not so brilliant. At 700 you can set this function to almost nothing when 730 already. With the change, for example, the color controller, it is only possible to shift into yellowish or reddish. Theoretically, you can indeed improve a lot on the settings of the TV set, since my TV is set but neutral color I want to change anything here. Nonetheless, I now managed to set a very good compromise, now that's why I give you a star more.
