"Rave Head" is definitely become the strongest album of the power metal from the Sauerland region. "Orden Ogan" have really increased steadily from album to album and also proved with their latest output they have now risen to become a figurehead of this genre. However, I am doing with "Rave Head" even after a dozen passes something heavy. With "Rave Head" and "Fever" also do it right to the point - this is power metal from the top shelf. "The Lake" and "Evil lies in every man" fit in seamlessly. Great melodies, partly rampant Bridges and catchy choruses stand out all these numbers. Just because actually begins my problem, the latest in "Here at the end of the world" is a schema known and we know what to expect. The ballad "A Reason To Give" can this impression, unfortunately, can not overcome, but it comes with "Deaf among the blind", "Sorrow is your tale" straight on again by a known knitting patterns. Only at the end to show "Orden Ogan" then with "Too Soon" that they also may otherwise - very strong song! We but please do not get me wrong: I like this album! Unfortunately, I can the effusive comments of other reviewers here do not connect all, I just do not personally but a little variety. But that's a matter of taste and does not alter the "Rave Head has become a very strong album. Of the two hammer-songs at the start with "Rave Head" and "FEVER" I convinced when I saw "Orden Ogan" opening for "Hammerfall" me yesterday. The guys are really good live, and take to the course come across very sympathetic - was a really cool concert! Who has the power, the band times to view the live should definitely do - I can only recommend!
My conclusion: With "Rave Head" is "Orden Ogan" an above average album succeeded to the friends of this genre should have their joy. For 5 stars it was not enough for me because I would have personally desired a bit more variety, why the spark is not quite jumped. Unfortunately, I could not forgive 4.5 star! :-(
