A (relatively) inexpensive alternative here would certainly have been even the 45-200 mm lens: Panasonic H-FS045200E telephoto zoom lens Lumix G F4-5.6 / 45-200 mm (90-400 mm KB, image stabilization, 52 mm filter thread) black but with the equivalent 90 to 400 mm KB-format wide-angle range would then again missing.
So there was only the 14-140 mm lens left. Priced at around 700 Euro but you swallow at first but once. I then comforted myself with the thought that it is a purchase for (Micro-FourThirds-) life and hopefully long carries out his services. In addition, the first test reports also saw pretty promising. At some point I had even then persuaded and bought the lens.
Repent, I did not mean it! From the purchase of it is my immerdrauf lens that completely satisfies my requirements. In my requirements the films plays absolutely no role, incidentally - so I have nothing to do. I wanted to film I would get myself a camcorder.
The lens is weighing almost exactly 500 g no lightweight! When extended, the length of about 140 mm. With a brightness of F4,0-5,6 not exactly a light giant, but much is offset by the stabilizer blends naturally very good with the Lumix G2. With the image quality when photographing, I am satisfied in all areas.
Benefits

+ Good image stabilizer
+ Very fast autofocus
Disadvantages
- High price
- Relatively difficult
If only the high price would not ... therefore only 4 stars
