- Ultra quiet (when the fan is inaudible red lead), even silent max.
- Good cooling: some other cooler do better but at the expense of silence. Here the Be Quiet is the best performance / noise
- Beautiful finish
Now the bad:
- Very high! It is certainly imposing, like any other cooler in this category (TDP up to 180 Watts), but it is very high: 16.6 cm against 15.5 on average for others. So you have to be sure it fits in your lap! It gets stuck me with my Cooler Master Silencio 550 because there are anti-noise foam ... (I'll have to cut the place of the cooler so that it returns to the hair).
- Difficult to climb, as the other reviews. But I've seen worse (especially Zalmann ...). Take your time and that's it.
- I'm on a motherboard MSI AM3 + and is a quack who was not expected ... The fan is found upside down! (Or top but it is better to put it down to suck the cold air that is always down). It's totally stupid ... For Intel socket, no worries; but for AMD socket is poorly designed ... Incredible anyway for a "German design". Koreans are better for example in NoFan.
In short, pay attention to dimensions of fins Dimensions (LxWxH) (mm) 95 x 96 x 166, and also to your socket.
Apart from that, it's a beautiful beast, and if you want the silence first, I advise the Be Quiet. If you preferred performance at the expense of noise, there are other (Noctua, Cooler Master, etc.)
