But first I wanted to mention that I could before buying not really decide whether I the expensive Intuos or rather the more favorable Bamboo to buy me. For the first tablet to me by many that Bamboo was recommended. I had it here and have it returned directly back because it has not felt good for me to work with. The tablet was too much "plastic". The drawing area felt too scratchy / cheap and the pen felt also not good.
So I thought, I must have something to fall deeper into their pockets to get my Intuos. And I did not regret it. It feels much more quality and it's much more fun to work with. Even twice the number of pressure stages is probably noticeable.
Did it only had here in size S for a 17 "laptop and a 21" Mac. And after a short time did my wrist hurt (had not even made an illustration, it had only to test here for a little "clicking around").
So back destiny, had to dip deeper into his pocket and ordered me Size M. This is ideal for me. No long distances while the wrist is not so burdened. Greater it should not be. Especially since I would probably buy it until a new table. But more on that later ....
The pen is very handy, the canvas very pleasant (especially in contrast to the Bamboo).
For wireless work I can not say anything, because I've always used it up to now with USB cable.
Now for the negatives:
1. touch function: This does not always work perfectly for me. The Express-touch keys on the left at the edge do not always react immediately as soon as I touch. Since, however, after a certain time anyway probably remembers how to have the keys is, I do not feel that's quite so tragic. Also the multi-touchpad itself is not necessarily useful for me personally. Nice to have, but for that kind of stuff I use he prefers still my Magic Mouse.
2. Active drawing area: Here the active drawing area is not as large as that actually recessed surface, but is delimited by the boundary marks. I do not understand really! Because I have a lot of space left over that I can not use, resulting in addition to the fact that the tablet as a whole is much larger than it needs to be.
To avoid getting stuck with the pen tip in the "groove" (
Had I also decided for precisely this reason only for a S size. Wanted to my table not cram so, because I really do not have a lot of space on my desk. But unfortunately there is no choice there. If the active drawing area in the size S as large as the recessed surface, it would be perfect. But since the whole thing does not really make sense to the limit marks (I let myself be happy to disabuse), I give 1 point deduction here.
Conclusion: The investment has definitely paid off. Some things could be improved for the unfortunately still very high price but.

Edit: I can confirm that the tablet when new really very strong and unpleasant smells plastic. This leaves but after about 2 weeks after well.
