What is the charge?
- The men make the most groovy underlying performance outrageous Lyrics guilty alike for the vernacular as well as for the corresponding translation.
- Not enough. After a short time collect uncontrolled Earwigs the helpless victim.
- Because of this conspiracy was pressed on CD is massive danger for repeat offenders by pressing the replay button.
I know the HMBC now for several years, of course, I also know the YouTube overheating Vo Mello to ge Schoppornou together with the accompanying studio album Lieble. The disc was already really good in my opinion, had slight weaknesses. Compositionally all super:
great pieces sometimes calm, sometimes zünftig then crazy again and funky.
What I did not like it so well? The album got through the incredible song-diversity as a collective work of some red threads.
Now that I've noticed the new studio album Hearad recently, I needed to know, what the potential for a lot more great songs has done with the boys from the Bregenzerwald as was felt on Lieble necessarily. Hearad I translate with Hear - and that should actually doing any interested party, who reads this at least once.
Who will the guys fall through the reading of the above wanted poster in the coming days to the victim should at least know that he is not alone. My impression after the first 2x (now probably already well-10x) through listening: It is as if the guys would come to me, had asked in which direction I would further develop after Lieble if I were HMBC and the whole thing just implemented have ,
Spontaneously occurs to me just a point of criticism:
-> There are no more classic folk music on this album.
But I really like:
-> There are no more classic folk music on this album.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To explain this ambivalent statement and therefore one of the songs:
Heavy to please everybody right I found the march of forests on Lieble entertaining, my girlfriend hated him. On Hearad there is now virtually no archaic home music more, but only the songs are now presented as a mix of styles. A good example is the instrumental of the dark forest which has received the name equal to a dark paint. Here, the various styles well places, but still exist in addition to the hearty horns many other elements: some jazz seems almost always subliminally resonate, the trumpet solo in turn could have come from the pen of the Grand Master Ennio Morricone.
Fact: If you liked the quality HMBC Uffta-Tätärä on Lieble will miss here only briefly. After all, what was pressed here to songs on the disc compensated and even local vending for said deficit which is now none at all more. In their own way high-quality songs, which were all too often have the audience split now just "replaced" by other songs - which are at least as great. This means in reverse but not that HMBC your style is no longer true. Ultimately, it is an evolution of the band, the one but still sounds exactly who she is and where she comes from.
Konnst ma mol uffd Kilbe ku ga blauso these are the first words we hear from this album and mutatis mutandis probably mean as much as slip me down the hump.
I have not taken the precaution times personally and the song continues heard right decision. For now wears a crisp Tuba radio right through my speakers in the room. Shortly afterwards, a few super-catchy vocal passages happen and all the grooving mid-tempo song about length. Granted, the beginning of the song is used to, but stay tuned worthwhile.
Please dont call me then again a little quieter and a 6/8 beat defines together with the many beautiful minor harmonies that some heartache is announced. For my taste HMBC place here again on top of an ordinary shovel to class composition to the previous track. At the beginning I thought for a fraction of the chorus here because Jeff Buckley feat. Austria-Brass heard before me have caught up with the facts.
Thus, the listener but not at the beginning of the album completely einschunkelt Track 3 provides the absolute number wellbeing Wild West Coast of Austria as a tribute to their own home. The radio-Tuba and Beatbox always in their hand luggage.
My personal favorite is the way Naso. Designed as a quiet off-beat, the piece is a tribute to the best olfactory organ of so, by whom actually? And why? I have not yet figured out, but I do not care, because the singer's voice so gentle fudges in the chorus with me, that to me is very warm feeling: Am I meant by that? A large tines I had to offer, but seis drum. I have other problems: How do I get for example this catchy catchy again from the ear canal.
Create that HMBC this balancing act between I do not understand a word and that's no matter, this song works well with Lalalalalala super has already impressed me on the previous album. Slowly but surely, then one is likely to text fragments and realizes what it is all about in the Song to German. Only to then ask: Huh? What is it about in the song actually
Something Dada appears when HMBCschen writing the lyrics always to belong and that is a good thing. This whole superficial nonsense makes namely really fun.
But the instrumentals are great. Phils solo is one thing above all: pure jazz. Here everyone is allowed by the band to have a go and make a noise, improvise, grab a good groove forward. In contrast, Disco Katz is a really funky Outgoing number again.
And at this point I would now like to attest HMBC: This album is as a whole as well as the sum of the parts fully succeeded. For me, it fits now I feel the common thread that runs through itself all over his album and shows in the form of a lot of fun, cool Tuba riffs, jazzy brass melodies and crunchy beat boxings. There are songs that highlighted consistently go on your way in the 6 / 8th Jazz Waltz forward with texts in which they too often would like to greet the table with his head. And finally, you can enjoy this combination still with a thick smile. That to me is exactly the certain magic that makes this album.
Of course, with these 5 species with your own music occupied niche also always the danger that one past scars with this admittedly somewhat funky art on the handset or even bounce. But whoever has this review persevered to this point and not switched off immediately even when face-off test of Track 1 Kilbe has the will probably be happy with this album.
5 of 5 stars from me there, because that to this happy Handset category I belong :-)
