"Far Cry 4" offers the player to explore a Himalayan region (named "Kyrat") very open and variable topography. Moreover, it is this last point that the Xbox 360 version of "slips". When not immersed in thick fog acting "cache misery", leave the backgrounds appear crudely modeled decorative elements, a dirty gray and depressing. The draw distance is ridiculously low for a game in which there is very often the possibility to see far ahead, to kilometers. From the first minutes, we feel that this title has been designed to run on newer, more powerful consoles, capable of displaying a great deal of detail on the screen. The vegetation density slightly lacking, the colors are a bit dull and especially we regret the fact that the most "exotic" area "Kyrat" (snowy part) is explorable only when predefined missions. Finally, gameplay side, the title of Ubisoft remains similar to the previous episode of the saga (which is quite positive), some new are emerging (the latter will be assessed differently depending on the players), but overall the experience remains the same ( capturing outposts, hunting, etc ...), despite a dip diminished by technical defects in this version xbox 360. If you do not know the "Far Cry" series and that you are not allergic to tropical islands, the third installment (better optimized on your favorite console) certainly remains a more interesting and less expensive choice.
