The cable connections are not soldered, only bruised. Connection problems are inevitable.
The inner conductor is very thin and will break or herrausreissen sometime soon.
For the price you can expect nothing less.

But where else can you get relatively good 20x alligator clips for only 3.00. Nowhere.
New rubber cords from the old Iron rangelötet nor fixed with shrink tubing and strain relief
and you've got the best connection cords that there is not for sale
and that too in umterschiedlichen lengths.
