Packaging / perceived quality
The coffee machine (short KVA) is delivered in a sufficiently large packaging. The Styrofoam inserts protect him safe. All small parts are specially protected in airtight bags packed. Here young children should not be unpacked near as suffocation.
The KPA is itself built up quite fast for a layman and can be taken quite fast (no 3 minutes) in operation.
The keys are small plastic pushbuttons. I feel the print quality as well, but not as outstanding. They are at least large enough.
The superficially looked perceived quality I feel as good to very good.
Tips for positioning the KVA
Here you should make sure that the KPA should be free to the right side, so that a cleaning of the brewing unit from time to time is guaranteed. Top You should have some space, because the bean container is removed during removal upwards.
Instructions for initial commissioning
The guide explains by pictures with additional texts quite clear and understandable to the adjusting parameters. I'm not an expert KVA, but with me no questions came first on that could not clarify the instructions. In this respect, I consider this to be good described.
The symbols used on the screen for me were small exceptions instantly recognizable and thus self-explanatory. Otherwise, the guide will help there in my opinion remains very healthy.
Warm-up time after waking up from standby
The KVA rinsed after each switching on and off automatically only once. The warm-up is roughly 1 minute, until one must make his choice. This is quite a fixed value.
Settings
Each coffee can be personalized according to capacity, which means if you like large cups of drinking coffee, so this can adjust. Unless this has been stored, the next coffee is output with the same amount.
The amount of coffee can be adjusted in 5 steps, so you will meet almost any taste from mild to strong coffee.
A cappuccino is realized by means of a hose in the milk carton and the automatic milk frother. This is achieved in my opinion very good.
Who for but instant coffee called no coffee beans, his own, can realize instant coffee in this case via the separate compartment.
Taste of coffee / espresso / cappuccino?
This is a very difficult issue, since the tastes are too different. Primary is for a good coffee, of course, the beans election decisively. Since there Drölfzigmillionen coffees, you just have to make a choice here. Although the crema is not as pronounced as in the known to me KVA, but it is definitely there.
What has struck me otherwise?
- The KVA I think is fairly quiet, although I already many devices have also heard that operate even quieter but the noise in my opinion is very tolerable
- The cleaning of the brewing unit is quite simple. For this purpose there is in the tube even videos that explain the fairly simple. Otherwise a small illustrated guide is glued into the associated door. Of course, this is also described in the ordinary instructions.
- The pulp container operates on a cycle. This means even if you empty the tank after each cup and clean, after a certain time a symbol is to draw attention to the fact that the container must be emptied now. We note, so there is no sensor installed, which measures this.
- You should check BEFORE the coffee exactly whether there sufficient water or beans in the containers are present, since the machine communicates this a not operate before the corresponding coffee button. So if you want to drink a large coffee and there is too little water in the tank, this will be visible only during the brewing time. That's a negative in my eyes.
- The coffee spout can indeed be adjusted in height, but it nevertheless subtly injected at least in my machine to one side. But is not further bad.
- An annoying element for me is always the wandering cup on the collecting filter. This is the case with this machine NOT. My cups (ordinary small and large cups) hike not very good.
- The display can be adjusted in brightness. It is also in bright rooms always easy to read, although this is not a high-resolution display (which I at a KVA but damn is).
- To determine the water hardness, is a strip. Because our water is very hard, I already use pre-filtered water (which many advocate, but many doubt (bacteria accumulate in the filters from) the truth lies in the middle). You may optionally use the Cleaning Kit with enclosed water filter there. This is purely made in the water tank.

Conclusion:
The Saeco Moltio is in my eyes a good KVA and meets completely my nerve. Even in a single household, he is not too great, works quite quickly and quietly. The coffee tastes very good in my opinion (but this is mostly on your own taste and the beans used).
What something is bugging me the fact that you will not note before pressing the button to lack of water or empty beans. That the beans though is theoretically seen, but who is already looking every time into the container? ;-)
Otherwise, I'm really pleased with the extent of Moltio. At the moment you wanted price makes it in my opinion nothing wrong. Therefore, I forgive the full 5 stars.
Should it result in negative effects later in the use of KVA, I will update my review to the effect in each case.
