At first skeptical, then positive surprise

What can now be, a Nokia / MS Smartphone with Windows Phone 8.1 for just 160 Euro? So I thought, then the surprise: Despite Kunststoffhaptik fit, no gaps, no creaks, real grip and felt very much valent, as it suggests the price.

The use of Windows Phone 8.1 is already another matter as Symbian, which is often somewhat cryptic came along, but it had a deep look into the bowels. But Android I wanted to not because of non-transparent and arbitrary policy update from Samsung, HTC and Co. and the product of the fruit shop is too expensive and proprietary, I'm just not a fanboy.

Installation (SIM, WiFi, Apps) went very quickly and without instructions, everything very intuitive to use.

I live in a hilly area where the radio link is poor, and then only with Edge. The Nokia 635 is reflected with flying colors, it has a lot more levels than all other phones in our house. And in the areas where I am otherwise, is even there full swing, where once were, at best, three out of five bars. It shows on the Sprachqualiliät who is without blemish, almost like in the fixed network.

The sensitivity of the screen is superb and he responded without apparent delay and also very precise. Higher resolutions I miss personally.

The pre-installed Office and offline maps are further plus points.

So all is well? Not quite, some criticisms I've read it:
The data migration from the "old" Nokia X7 on the Lumia via the Nokia Suite can not. According to Nokia Suite is the site for non-use, which is a very faint picture!

Critical I also see the sync via the cloud alone, but because the yes all do now, you have hardly any choice.

The e-mail client must be configured somewhat cumbersome, this was even the X7 even easier, to say nothing of Android entirely. But since one makes it only once, that's not a big issue.

Furthermore bothers me that in the factory settings a lot of apps per se can be much "sniffing". Least you can turn this off, what I have done. Is just not obvious where this goes, you have to look for it.

All in all, the part of fun and for the little money it is a bargain. Strong buy recommendation.
