Used as wireless relay completed its function very well but beware of the configuration !! In detail: in my house I have a box SFR fiber on the ground floor on which are connected the bottom 3/4 of my devices (TV, demodulator, consoles, etc ...) and WiFi for laptop but the signal is very weak in the first floor so use of tablets / laptops almost impossible with the internet up there. I have a RJ45 cable that part of my box and going up to the first floor on which I fixed my pc. So I installed the Netgear at the end of this cable and I connected my pc re above, which provides a wired pc on top while having an optimal wifi signal first. However, leaving the default router configuration, I had 2 different networks and devices will not "saw" more between different networks. (Ex: I do not accedais my NAS drive is connected directly to the box at the top of my pc), to solve this problem is to configure the router in AP mode: connect from a pc fixed, type the router address in a Web page (by default 10.0.0.1) put the user name and password and then, once in NETGEAR genie, go to Advanced Settings / Advanced Configuration / wireless network settings and there, you must check "Enable the AP mode" and "obtain IP and DNS addresses dynamically" and there miracle !!! All devices will see and work very well. I can access the NAS server down to the first floor with a tablet. The tablet switches between the two wireless signals according to their power. Hope this can help someone if you encounter the same problem.
