The printer itself produces good photos. There are two changes to my old CP800, which I find worth mentioning:
+ The ability to tailor passport photos in the printer
+ You can choose between matte and glossy expression without changing the paper
Now the big minus point, which is pushed me so angry that I give the printer just two stars (2 star is "do not like" and just as it is).
- In the old printer (CP 800) you could just behind dranstecken at the back of the battery. Wonderful solved, I've never actually worked without the battery, not even at home.
At the newer devices have to be to use the battery can buy an additional power supply, in which then the battery is inserted. The power supply battery package is then connected next to the printer and with this wired. Not to mention that this is simply not practical, one must also decide between battery load and print (which goes simultaneously with the CP800).
I did not want to believe the seller, but Canon demands for this power supply incredible 90! Together with a (original) battery then you end up with an extra cost of about 170th
That really was me then too much and I have to the poor dealer where I had a look at the device, unfortunately have to disappoint and hope fervently now that my old CP800 lives a long time.
Love Canon-people: How stupid do you think actually your customers? Anyway, I'll sour for my part, if someone so obviously wants to move the money out of his pocket me.
If the printer would have become only more expensive - from me. Finally, the device prints excellent photos (the CP800 however ...). But to have to carry an additional device (battery power supply) in order then again having to fumble with cables? Nope, sorry. Mobile is different.
Conclusion:
The new printer has been improved in a few details, but that would perhaps be able to solve via a software update for the old equipment. Who buys a device new and is sure that he / she will use only home on the power supply, which can here safely access and receive photos that are qualitatively well above the usual drugstore prints. Whoever wants to use the mobile "Mobile Photo Printer", should think about a used CP800, which is currently offered for ~ 45.
