* To put me amateur swimmer for many years at the rate of an average of 5 sessions per week of about 2.4 km per session by combining education, fins and three strokes (except butterfly), never training or group class or club. This book is not right for me looking for some improvement in the postures and movements.
Moreover, in practical terms it would benefit be in spiral form in order to win the poolside, open to the right page and protected in a plastic sleeve. Otherwise you have to photocopy or retype the instructions in pencil (and it does not also refer to the "fundamental situations" or if it is educational not well stored them). Its 254 pages are divided into 3 parts:
- 66 pages for "understanding swimming" with simple and precise sketches, each of the four strokes is described using 4 situations (experimentation without swimming in water) followed by 4 education but for me it is difficult to understand situations without seeing or have explained in the water with an instructor
- 22 pages for "understanding the swim training": theoretical and practical advice (without image)
- "My training notebook in 100 sessions" on 140 pages the program in question with progressive sessions from 1200 to 2500 to 2900 m, each session is divided into warm (with "MAO" = launching, concept unclear to me), main series late in the session, using the wall clock.
I hope these details give you a better idea of the interest of this work for you.
