My mother sixties needed a corded phone handy, easy to use, and with voice mail. The daily telefunken TF651EU0 meets all expectations. The keypad is easy to read (big numbers), the backlit display (adjustable brightness) allows the display of the caller (this avoids answering incessant commercial canvassing), the ringer is loud and clear (useful when you have a multi-storey housing), and one can choose the number of rings before the outbreak of the responder (which leaves plenty of time to arrive if the person is far removed from the phone or if it has difficulty moving). Finally messages left by callers are perfectly audible (which is not the case for all devices) and memory is sufficient. Some negatives though: too much data at the display screen (especially when the machine is idle) and somewhat complex operating instructions. Fortunately, this phone is intuitive enough to be used alone to discover the basic operation (call and take a course call, delete a message, put it on speaker, most short!). Its strengths far outweigh these few weaknesses. Sure, it's an investment for wired (49.90 euros), but if you're a (an) phobic waves like my mother, and you are looking for quality, do not hesitate!
