Performance under XBMC is made even more dramatic with Android ICS as a substructure. No HD movie is played smoothly over Ethernet, the sound is completely asynchronous (as also does not help the possible correction), the box is not configurable to 50Hz, etc .. For Android there is probably also an update and the manufacturer claims, that in the future the official XBMC app for ARM processors can be used. I have the new version of XBMC 13.0 (Gotham) installed and am of the performance, just as it did from Frodo, very disappointed!
Conclusion: Here was hammered together a completely overburdened ARM hardware on the fly and carelessly tossed with 2 operating systems on most beta level and with alleged XBMC suitability to the market. Support in the form of updates was set obvious to upgrades is also out of the question. Only if you dispense with the functionality of the media player (with XBMC) and intends to use the box as Android-PC for surfing, email, etc. on the TV, the box has a certain justification. Too bad, but forget XBMC and thus the universal media player with this box!
