This second volume is a success. The author brings a new theme within this romance. The evolution of the character of Livia is done well, despite a few points where it seems too gentle and kind. The suspense and humor are always present, and the revelations and twists for some characters. In the first volume, Livia was a fairly bland and erased character. Therein, it was actually discovered. Young girl reliable, serious, cautious and quiet, Livia is seen growing by Dec Stayner to push the limits by throwing challenges: bungee jump, interact with people, ... She will learn to discover. Ashton, the captain of the team of Rowing, warned seductive, perfectly managed his life, well almost, until the arrival of Livia. And to conclude the triangle, Connor, best friend and roommate Ashton of it, is the perfect man for Livia, serious, stable and nice. And finally the roommate Livia, Reagan, daughter of the rowing coach, it is sublime, it's Kacey twice with the same humor. This second volume is a compendium of emotion with engaging and interesting characters. The topics as self-discovery are very well introduced in the center of romance. The scenes between Livia and Ashton are gorgeous and hot. Only the end seemed to be too fast. Otherwise if a nice reading, intense and beautiful, a bit above the first.
