I have these lateral laying out since about 1 months constantly on my DJI Phantom. The attachment of the support plates is not a problem with the screws. 10 minutes of work. The flight time is but with two normal batteries only about 1.5 times as long as the weight is indeed greater. I have also made a small diversion and a Garmin GPS device moored on one side the battery and on the other side in order to detect the level and the flight data. No Problem. But beware: the batteries are determined not 100%, even if one makes the supplied Velcro straps firmly. It happened to me that a battery has freely shaken in flight and crashed (without damage). The copter has stabilized quickly in the case gaz and everything was ok. Now I'm building the batteries above the plate, then they are the front and rear between the lateral laying the copter and can not slip out so quickly. And now the "Hammer": I have two batteries made 5000 the boom in order to test whether it works. IT WORKS !!! The copter but rises very slowly in the air at full speed and it is then quite unstable because he barely has speed reserves for stabilization. Therefore, I have the trial canceled rather quickly. Then it will probably be "better" if you connected to a second Y-adapter connects a third battery, which can then inserted into the now empty space in the belly of the copter. But the extra time gained is not too large. Better 2,400 batteries have shown and 2 of them one comes forward to almost 15 min .. Now I would just need a battery-Platform that the copter is centered below where 2 adjacent reinpassen. That I would find not a bad alternative. But as long as it does not exist, this set here the best expansion ever for DJI Phantom: Clear recommendation.
