Very disappointed I was by Black Flag, which is highly praised by many. Not me wrong, the game itself is great. But with Assassins it has nothing to do. The story in the present is a joke, and at the end we know not why you did all this. I always had the feeling that here was a pirate Ubisoft game, and AC has used in order to ensure that the game gets more respect.
Now for Unity: It is finally a real Assassin's Creed. Some has been changed, all is not well, but convinced the overall concept.
The minuses:
The story in the present is again a joke, but better than Black Flag. I wish again something like the Desmond Story. Ubisoft has unfortunately somewhat bogged down by having not completed their trilogy right to the end. You can tell they have no idea how this should go.
Too many chests, far too many. What shoud that? One can see on the map any more. Some are middle of the road, but Arno is probably smart enough to open it.
Far too many side quests, which, though all nicely done, but at the expense of the story.
I would have preferred fewer side missions for more story missions. But one has to say that all the side missions, tell a little story. Very nicely done. The story is a bit too short, that's too bad. Bugs I had virtually no, so I can not comment on that.
No more death dialogues. These were the highlight in the AC's. This gave the whole a philosophical note.
The pluses:
Atemberaumende graphics, very often I just put myself on a tower, and enjoyed the view.
Paris! This city is simply amazing. Everything was programmed so loving and detailed. That was the first since AC Part 1 where I am no longer running, but strolled. The city is huge and very busy. The mixture is immersed in another world. The atmosphere is incredible, no matter what age you are traveling ... more is not betrayed.
The Arno story is really good and exciting. Of deception and intrigue.
Rift! Has to do with the periods referred to above. This is a nice innovation and brings a new course in the series. If I had not seen in a trailer, my jaw would fell down. Why Ubisoft something unexpected does in a trailer in advance spoilers? I can not understand. That was one of the highlights in the game.
Who by the way historically interested, continues to find positions that match the truth or stories, but were rotated so that the we-told story seems wrong, in the spirit of the Assassin / Templar conflict. Such as: It has eventually an encounter with Robespierre. From documentaries I know that he was found injured shortly before his arrest, his suicide attempt failed, he shot himself in the jaw. Then what the story writers have made it look. Really cool.
Mir has AC Unity right-liked, play it for the second time. It is named after the Black Flag finally experience what is known as AC fan likes and also expected. Slightly more main story would have been desirable. The minuses outweigh not too heavy. Stuttering came zuimindest with me only sporadically. I think we have turned the series in all the right screws, and all innovations are good intigriert.
The Bastilleedition looks very beautiful, content is okay: Soundtrack is always great, and the book is also very nice. Unfortunately, these are just artwork. Something like in the Code Edition of Brotherhood would have liked better, but it's a very nice box for AC fans.
I must now return to Paris. Give the game a try, it is very bad spoken to the part that does not deserve it. It ranks among the best Assassin's Creed games, as part of I II and III.
