Definitely very strong, Robert Merle. Undeniably, it is well documented before writing his novels. He not only provided us with historical data while taking us on a suspenseful novel. The adventure but also tenderness and love are at the rendezvous. Tahitian and English appear to be under your eyes; a Pacific island as if you were there. As always, Robert Merle knows very well portray human nature. Would recommend to have a great time while learning.
